I have a 1990 dodge daytona 3.0L V6 automatic transmission. i started driving it in august and by i think october the transmission started acting funny. i think it got stuck in second gear, like when i drove up a hill and it kicked into a lower gear for more power. so i had to start off in 2nd gear and manually shift it into third, then it would kinda kick 3 times, then it was fine. then i was driving it a couple weeks ago and now, when i go to shift into 3rd or overdrive, its like it goes into neutral. then i coast down to about 20mph and i think it kicks into second gear. then it wont go back into first after that, it will still shift into neutral, reverse and park, but i have to shut the car off and turn it back on to get it to go back to normal. but it does it all over again when i go to shift into overdrive. Does anyone know whats wrong?
