My 1995 Pontiac Firebird doesnt always start on its first crank of the engine. I usually start it just fine, but there have been times that my dad couldn't start it and he took it to the mechanic. As usual, the mechanic finds something wrong and I end up with an expensive repair. Just recently the car got a new ignition switch, tension belt, starter, and drive belt. My dad also changed the alternator last year. Does anyone know what might be the reason that my car takes multiple cranks to start? It usually has trouble most when the engine is cold.
