i have a 95 civic eg and i recently had a p28 ecu chipped. after they chipped it the car started being super shaky, and wasting alot of gas. i told the guy to chip it back to stock and he did. but the car still was shaky, i took it to a mechanic and 2 of the cylinders were not working, the car barely turns on and turs off if i put it in neutral.
what are my options now? fixing it is $800 (dont have the money)
if i change the plugs could that work?
or do i end up selling it?
yes, the mechanic measured the voltage on all 4 cylinders, and the 2 inner ones read "0"
i asked about changing the plugs but he said that those werent the problem, that the cylinders themselves were (maybe a broken hose or something) and he said it would take some time and $ too. do you guys think i should just go ahead and try getting new plugs? or is he right and am i fucked with my car?
how much would the coil packs be?
