What's wrong with my grandmother?

I currently live with my grandparents, along with my mom and my brother.

For about the past month and a half, I've noticed my grandmother's been up all night vomiting every hour or two, every night. It starts in the late evening, and continues until the morning. She seems to be fine during the day, aside from appearing quite drained.
At first I thought it was merely the medication she was taking, but, in reality, it wasn't for anything close to that.

She's going to the doctors soon, but since no one is taking this seriously enough and giving me answers (my family lacks in the communication area), I'm curious as to what could be causing her to be ill like this.

Anything would be nice.

i agree communication is lacking if it's been so long and she is just now going to see a doctor. i don't know what could be wrong, i just wanted to say i hope all will come out all right and it's so nice that you are such a caring person. i took care of my mom til her passing and aging is a very difficult time. i hope she has you to care for her well-being for a long time.
