I've had these goldfish from the fair. I got them about a year ago,so they've lived fairly long I think. I originally had 5 and Im down to 2. One of them has grown to be really big,he's very aggressive and dominate. And always hoggs the food when feeding. I left him,goldfish #2, &&an algae feeder in a pot while I cleaned the tank out. They were in there for about 1h & 30m . When I came to move them I notice fish #2 is leaning to its side,his body is curved, and near the bottom of the pot. He's still alive because ill nudge him and ill see movement. But I don't know what's wrong. I a little research and I think it mite be swim bladder infection but im not sure. PLEASE HELP! One of my other fish is starting to nibble on his fins. This is the first I've seen of this with my other fish. And they've co-habbitted for a couple months. What can I do to SAVE my goldfish, PLEASE HELP ME!!!
If I lean him over with the net he looks as if he would be bruised on the inner side of how he's curved. Tink of the ltter "C" ,he's curved in that shape and he's 'bruised' on the inside of the curve.
I've moved him and the other goldfish into a pot for the meantime. When I touch him now,he won't move. And when I took him out the water he didn't even budge. I think he mite have just died on me,but im not quite sure cause he hasn't floated up. He's still curved over and sunken to the bottom. I don't want to flush him if he's still alive. But I really don't know,somebody PLEASE help me.
