What's wrong with my Flash Drive?

I have a 4GB flash drive that I've had for about a year now, and there is nothing on it anymore, but when I plug it in to my laptop (I have a macbook) I says I only have 600 or so MBs of memory left.
Any suggestions on how to clear it completely so that I have all 4 Gigs?
 
Just need to format it if there isn't anything on it. On windows you just right click the usb in My Computer and click format. Should be about the same way in a mac I'm just not sure how to get to it.
