Whats Wrong With My Fantail Fish?

My 2 out of 3 fantails are acting strange .. the hide behind the ornament and just stay still for around 12 seconds like they are dead.. but then they spring to life again. im not sure whats going on so if anybody knows please help !!! ty x
 
It depends alot on the fish itself, if youve just got them from a shop it could be that you put them in too quick, and they wernt used to the water tempreture, it could also be that they bowl/tank isnt filtered properly, or it could be an infection, ask a pet shop, Pets at home is good for these types of things.
