whats wrong with my car?

i have a 2000 pontiac grand prix gt i was driving it yesterday and while i was driving it i lost all rpms and i had to put the car in nuetral turn it off while i was still going then turn it back on to get any power also when i lost the rpms the oil and battery light would come on s i took it to the auto store and they checked the battery and alternater and said they were both good so i go to drive it today and now it wont start what could be wrong with it?
 
check ur belt.....but if its there and not squealing its probably fine.....cud b a ground issue since gm's r horrible about this....good luck
