whats wrong with my car? the engine check light is on, my car....?

my cars engine check light comes on at random times . it just recently got serviced for something wrong with the oil. now at random times the car stalls out and the power steering goes out and the oil meter goes down to empty. i have checked my oil and it is full i have to put my car in park and turn it off and then turn it back on. it happens after my car has stopped at a light or decreased speed turning onto a road. i drive a 1999 buick lesabre custom
