whats wrong with my cadillac, my stability engaged appears on the dash?

I have a 1999 Cadillac Deville. Sometimes when im driving between 8 and 25 mph my car suddenly brake's without pushing my brake myself and it says stability engaged. Then when i break out me it it says service stability engaged. The thing is im not turning my wheel or nothing im going straight. It is very dangerous. I drive my car A LOT and need help finding out what is wrong with it. Please help me! IS THERE A WAY I CAN UNWIRE SOMETHING TO STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING
