My car runs great... It has a really strong sounding engine and all together idles really well. Until all the sudden it just dies out... Usually runs great until I'm slowing down or at a stop... Also yesterday I realized it cut out when I was going in reverse. Just so wierd because it'll run just fine until it does that... and there's no pattern. I havn't been driving it and will turn it on just to see whats going on and sometimes it won't shut down for a while. I'm taking it to get a full diagnostic test tomorrow, but will that find what's wrong even if my check engine light isn't on? I'm broke and have a lemon! does anyone have any ideas what this might be? I'm almost positive crank sensor... but then i have no idea? what do you guys think?
Forgot to add that sometimes if i rev the engine up it'll stop it from cutting out... sometimes. And many times it'll start up again... but sometimes won't right away.
