What's wrong with my 1995 Toyota Avalon?

Two days ago, I noticed that my car makes an audible ringing sound upon acceleration. I started it up this morning and during idle, I heard it again. It's becoming more noticeable by the day.
The vehicle is a 1995 Toyota Avalon XLS- 3.0L V6 engine with 204k on the ticker.
