Hey everyone, this problem started occurring Friday night when I was driving home from work. Traffic was kind of at a halt because it was pouring and nobody could hardly see. The car wouldn't accelerate, and it stalled. I tried starting it, and it'll crank, but not fire over. I ended up having the car towed to my house. Once it got home it started up and ran completely fine. I let the vehicle sit over night thinking that maybe the spark plug wires got wet on the drive home, and that it wasn't getting spark. Sunday I tried driving it to work. I was on the highway, and the vehicle again stopped accelerating and then eventually died. Again, I can crank it, but it won't fire. Again, the vehicle was towed home. I replaced the distributor cap, rotor, and ignition coil. I also had the ignition module tested probably a dozen times at Autozone to make sure it was hot when tested. After the vehicle died, we tested for fuel pressure at the test port when cranking. Fuel is getting through. We also checked for spark at one of the wires after it dies. I'm not getting any spark. I pulled the codes the day it first died, and got the following.
E30 ISC RPM Out of Range
E53 Distributor Signal Interrupt
F13 In-Car Temperature Sensor Circuit
F48 Refrigerant System Problem
FF13 Repeat of In-Car Temperature Sensor Circuit
Autozone had mentioned the possibility of the pickup coil being bad. Also said it could be an issue with the computer sending a signal to the ignition module. I'm just seeing if any of you experts have any ideas as to what I should try next. Thanks for the help. I know it's a long post, but I tried being as detailed as possible.
