So I have been having this problem for the past 2 months. It happens mostly when I'm accelerating uphill. My car feels like its sputtering and stalling and it's very jerky. I have the auto transmission with the 4 gear auto stick option. It only seems to happen in 4th gear, it stops when I push the accelerator all the way to the floor or shift to a lower gear. It doesn't happen in any other gear when using the auto stick option but I can't tell if it's the same way in drive. It doesn't happen when the car is idling or even when I rev up the engine in park or neutral. I've tried using fuel injector cleaner with a full tank of gas but it had no effect. What I want to is; what might be wrong with my car? I there a way to fix it with stuff you can buy from auto zone? I I have to take it to a mechanic, how much should I expect to spend? Thanks!
