Do you agree or disagreee with the notion that every kid gets on the team?
I rarely disagree with you Des, but I hardly think that it’s the village’s responsibility to rear the obese teenager. In a world where society promotes fast food, remote control, instant messaging and video games I think it’s irresponsible to jump to - he didn’t stand a chance because he isn’t athletic - as a reason for his physique. In fact, I’d just love to get away from blaming everyone else for everything. It’s so typical today that it’s boring. I love the suggestion from several that under age (whatever) no tryouts, and tryouts after age (blank).
