Agendus 8.0 will attach photos -- at a cost of 52k of RAM for each photo, regardless of whether the photo itself is in RAM or on the SD Card. That costs you a meg of RAM for 20 photos!! Ridiculous.
DON'T EVEN BOTHER WITH 8.01 - if you tap menu icon in bottom T3 toolbar, it crashes!
Beta testing with users is absolutely correct! When it works it's great -- and 8.0 now allows you to color in days of the month in calendar (helpful for me). But it's certainly glitchy and 8.01 (an incremenetal improvement my a**) is a complete disaster!
Jim Cooke is echoing S.O.S.s point of a few weeks ago that 7.06 was really the "beta" for 8.0 - they're both right - and that's why I won't pay the $9.95 upgrade from 7.06. I'm sticking, sadly, with one that works. But I get screwed on my "month day color." If Agendus wasn't hands down better than Datebk 5 I'd switch in a heartbeat - it's all personal, but Agendus seems so much more vivid, definable and versatile (when it WORKS, of course) than D5 I'd find it hard to switch.
I'm talking to Tealpoint regarding their developing a calendar app - now that would probably rock and tie in much better with TealPhone - which they're now completely rewriting. Maybe good news ahead, and I'll post updates.
