whats up with the mazda?!?

hey there folks, see if y can help us out here, please!
problem is in an 08 mazda 6, when y press the brake, sometimes, the clutch goes in a bit, why?! what's wrong? no, before y say it, it's not the mat, thats what mazda garage said! several people have driven the car and noticed this, with no mat present.
Any sensible ideas?

Sounds like there's something catching between the 2 pedals that shouldn't be. It's a new car, so take it back to the dealer and kick up a fuss till they fix it.
