Whats up with my fishes eyeball?

Okay so i have had this beta fish since 2007 and he has always been normal but today i go to feed him and see that one of his eyeballs is sticking out, not fully to where its popped out completely just more out than the other... Hes the only fish i have.. I don't know whats up with him..
Is my Little Pimp okay?! =/
