John works for a small business that, because they only have a few employees, does not have to get health insurance for employees. John remains uninsured willingly. Then he gets cancer and decides to sign up for insurance to have it covered....and he cannot be denied because the law forbids being denied based on pre-existing conditions?
Since I'm in the 4% not required to get healthcare (self-employed), I suppose I'll just hold off until I need some medical stuff done, and then I'll get it.
