I just got my first essay back, and I failed with a 60. Anyways my professor wrote a whole little page in the back with comments pretty much just constructive criticism like "too much plot description", "think more about the language", etc. Then at the very end he puts "what's written here isn't good at all." Thank god I waited until I got to my dorm to read it b/c I burst into tears as soon as I did. I showed it to my friends and they all agree that it was uncalled for, and that no one they know has ever gotten a comment like that. But I figured other people must have had a similar experience so please share your stories and opinions, thanks.
