What's the weirdest pet you've ever heard of someone owning?

My Mom legally had a skunk. It was really great and went in a litter box just like a cat!
Also, my Dad says he had a baby alligator for a while when he was a kid. strange.
Some neighbors down the street have a piranha tank. 0_o
