Whats The % Tax Hike Going To Be On Our Energy Bills?

I remember Obama had said during the campaign cap & trade would cause our energy bills to skyrocket. So anyone know the percentage of what we will have to pay to have lights on in our house so that GE can take over and control our energy thru their lame smart grid they will build with our money?
By the way GE owns the NBC networks- so I wouldn't trust a word that network says. We have a govt now that wants to control our every move! NBC employees are helping them- shame on them and I don't know how they sleep at night ! How about Katie Couric? If we get Obama's health care program- most people who get colon cancer will be denied treatment like they do in Canada! They have a much higher death rate for colon cancer! I would think Katie's husband is rolling over in his grave if she supports that Obama take over health care plan!

The answer is twofold. First any direct tax will be added right on, but the second is much more difficult to tally. The restrictions on how energy companies can operate will be by far the highest drag and therefore the larger portion of the 'tax' this system will cause to be imposed.

So the answer is, we really dont know the %. You might be better off asking what the factor is that our utility bill will be multiplied by. Cause it could be anything from 100% to 1000% in the five years following its implementation.

Realize that utility companies will have to start a whole new department to account for their emissions to make sure this system is not getting more money than they should.

Here in Michigan it was reported that our utilities would double in cost over a year. In addition, ANYTHING a consumer buys will also be increasing in cost. THIS IS NOT GOOD for the average hard working or unemployed person to say the least.
