What's the Sprint insurance policy?

they may have an old version of your phone in stock. with insurance you get a reconditioned phone.
but, then if your is completely out of stock, they must give you an equivilant phone, or as you noted the next one closer.
insurance and contact have no relationship, so your contract will not be amended.

So I have insurance on my phone and it's almost broken but the thing is, Sprint doesn't carry it anymore. If my phone were to break, would they restart my my 2 year plan and give me a new phone, or just give me the next best phone as a replacement and make me pay the difference? Just wondering if anyone knew anything about that. Thanks!
