What is the ultimate point of them? to be happy? what exactly does being with someone in that manner bring you? and why are they so important to people?
I'm a 20 year old guy, and it seems I should be very concerned with getting a girlfriend because all other guys my age are. But when I think about it, and I imagine a girl be interested in me, the first thing I think is "What does she want?" "what am I supposed to do now?"
So my question is, are intimate relationships philosophically pointless? or do I just fail to understand them?
