What's the nastiest (but harmless) thing I can slather onto my doorbell for

those ding dong ditchers? Kids are always ding dong ditching my house. I want to slather my doorbell (they're the only ones that use it) with something nasty but invisible and harmless so maybe they get the idea to stop. Pranking them back is a fun idea. So what should I use? Butter? Syrup? Honey?

and they will be doing it fast so they don't get caught so they won't notice it

Even better try putting a piece of paper over it that says "doorbell is broken" or something i don't know if it will work but it's worth a try lol
