Whats the name of the copyright "act" that copyrights text and images posted on

the internet w/o registering? I don't think it's the Berne Copyright Convention because that says phothgraphy and cinimatography but there is one that "implies" a copyright if you post your origional work on the internet. I would like to find out the details so I can send it to someone who is using one of my origional web buttons without my permission. Thanks
