...around 1993? There used to be a movie that played on the Disney Channel around 1993 that was about some painter that went into the forest and made some friends. There was this king that lived in the dark side of the forest and was always mean. It ends up with the painter opening up the forest and letting sunshine hit the king and his castle and he becomes nice. The painter then leaves.

I know it's pretty vague but that's all the information I can provide. I remember watching the movie when I was very little but never caught on to the name of it. I would like to know so I can look it up for nostalgic purposes.
