what is the controversy? i mean, these discussions get so heated to the point where you start to think you're discussing the existence of god. can someone please tell me the implications of believing/not believing global warming is an issue? yes, i know someone is going to bring up "well a long time ago we thought the earth was COOLING!!!". i don't want to hear that. i want to know why everyone's so intent on making such a huge controversy out of it.
