What's The Difference??

I just wanted to know what the difference is between walking on a treadmill to get your heart rate up and having anxiety which also gets your heart rate up. I have heard that gettin' your heart going in the way of exercising is good for you but I have had anxiety off and on for a week now because we are moving and I just wondered if the heart rate from the anxiety takes the place of the treadmill. Anyone know?

Anxiety is stressful on the body--your heart, blood pressure, etc. Exercise is GOOD for the body because it helps to relieve stress and depression and the body releases endorphins which are 'feel good' hormones that make us feel great. Exercise (if you're healthy) is good for your heart and blood pressure, strengthens your muscles, bones, endurance, lubricates joints. When you suffer from anxiety the body puts out stress hormones that are harmful to your heart health. Keep up the exercise and I think you'll find your anxiety will fade quickly.
