what's the difference between a spanish education major and a spanish studies major?

whats the difference. i want to be a spanish teacher, but which do i major in?

A Spanish Education major is trained to teach Spanish.

A Spanish Studies major learns Spanish, and things about Spanish Culture in general. It's a liberal arts degree, that doesn't lead to becoming a teacher.

You want the BSEd in Spanish Education. . . For what you want to do, not the BA in Spanish Studies.
