I use an iron from 'Mega Hot Ceramics'. The name of the brand leads me to believe that my flat iron is, indeed, ceramic and not metal. But I could be wrong. I wouldn't know just by looking.
The other day I was at the mall and used another ceramic flat iron on my hair and it worked much, much nicer (I don't remember the name of it).
When I went into my nearest Sally store, every single flat iron on the shelf was "ceramic".
What's the deal? Are certain flat iron plates made with a greater portion of ceramic than others? What are the best ceramic flat irons, what are the worst?
Thanks =)
