I realize this is posted in the wrong area. But i just posted this same question in the right place and got a whole bunch of silly answers. And i know that books and authors normally has mature/nice people in it
My question is, i want to know the correct etiquette to ask someone to a formal/dance... Like back in the day. How they would ask them. Kind of sweet, romantic- but proper. If you get me? Something like "( Name and last name), would you give me the privilege of escorting me to the dance?" <- but preferably way better then that.
In simpler terms, how would have romeo asked juliet to the prom? An old fashioned male in modern times?
I'm sorry if my question doesn't make sense. I tried to make it as simple as possible. Thanks in advance
