My wife and I are unfortunately getting a divorce. We don't have a house or kids and are pretty much just going our separate ways. We don't have much money and can't see the point of spending it on lawyers. I know that we can file the papers ourselves.. but would still need to go to court. Is this the only way to have the marriage untied legally??
