You start the day off at 5:30 Am, have roll call, do 25 or so push ups, take a crap, make up your bunk and by 6 Am you stand in line at the mess hall for break feast. Return back and clean up the barracks, get harassed a little by the D.I. change your clothes, fall out for formation and do some PT (physical training). Go for a run, return to the barracks, take a shower, stand at attention if front of your bunks, get harassed a little more by the D.I. and study Marine Corps history. Fall out in formation and march to the mess hall, stand at attention and get to eat lunch. Return to the barrack, make a head call (piss) get your weapons and fallout again and have drill practice. Return to the barrack, stand at attention and study general orders. Get quizzed by the D.I. and harassed if you don't know the answer, sit on your foot locker and clean you weapon. Stand at attention in front of your rack and have the D.I. inspect your weapon. Get harassed a little more by the D.I., fall out in formation outside and clean up the area around the barracks. Fall out in formation, march to the mess hall and stand in line for supper. Return to the barracks and stand in front of the bunk beds and get quizzed by the Jr D.I.about whatever you studied today.Get an hour of "free time" to sit on your foot locker and shine your boots, spit shine you dress shoes, shine your brass and write a letter home to your girlfriend (if you finished the other stuff). Stand at attention in front of your bunk bed get harrassed a little more by the Jr. D.I. then take a shower and hit the rack. Lay at attention in your rack and sing 3 verses of the Marine Corps Hymn at the top of your lungs and then at 10 PM lights off and dream about all the fun you're gonna have tomorrow. That's something of what a typical day is, any help?
