i want to read the vampire diaries because i have to wait 8 weeks for the next episode on the CW it ends where Elena crashes after running over a man. i need he book to fin out what happens first is it the awakening?
Its kind of hard to tell what is were in the book form the show. For the simple fact that the show doesn't follow the book too closely. In my opinion I would say it would be better to read the books first before watching the show.
