Whats the best year to buy for a Harley Davidson Custom 1200?

Im looking to buy my first Harley Davidson at 27 yrs old ( 5'8 180lb) and I have decided to sell my crotch rocket for something more comfortable. I decided to go with the Harley Davidson Cusom 1200! Any reccomendatons on what year to get and or what year not to get? I know from 2004 Sportster line is its system of rubber mounts that insulates the rider from the engine's vibration. But for '04, the Sportster blocks vibration with a new frame that incorporates three stabilizer links and rubber engine mounts in place of the solid engine mounts on previous Sportsters. PLEASE NEED ADVICE?
