I'm making a biking trail with my friends in the woods across the street from my house. there is one part in the woods that is too hard to build a dirt trail. I have seen that other mountain biking trails have wooden tracks, and they seem to work well. the only problem is the type of wood I need for the trail. I need something that is relatively durable, strong, and if possible, cheap. It would be great if you could help me out, and for the answers I am only looking for the type of wood. not anything else. thank you!
