What's the best way to cook frozen catfish fillet?

I know frozen isn't as good as fresh, but I'm a college student who doesn't know how to fish (nor do I know how to clean and fillet them).

So, what seasonings and cooking method should I use? Also, would there be any dipping sauces that would go well?

As for cooking methods, I should mention that I've never grilled before (nor do I know how to use the girll). So, maybe grilling isn't the best option.

I'm really hoping someone with experience can help me out. I'm usually not great at cooking because I lack the intuition for it. Also, if you list a recipe/cooking instructions, please be as detailed as possible (like, tell me what brands of stuff you buy, exact temperatures and exact times for cooking, what not to do, etc)

Also, I don't intend to bread my fish. I hate breaded fish.
