What's the best way to build up credit if you have no credit?

I've been denied by all credit card companies because I have no credit history. Where do I start?
 
borrow from a quick credit company, borrow 50.00 and pay it back right away like the next month in full or as soon as the first payment is due, in full
 
Get a credit card and buy a tank of gas once a month or some groceries .just spend what you can afford to pay when the bill comes.
Don't go over board and pay it of every month so that you DO NOT PAY INTREST.
After a year this will show up on your credit report
