I've been struggling for a while now to download films (or anything from a browser) on my playstation 3. All I want to do is download or even stream video on my playstation 3.
There are plenty of youtube videos about the subject but none with any success. Some users say to use a site called Torrent Relay which acts as a web based torrent downloader. The problem is, it hardly ever works unless you're a member (paying £25 +) and when it DOES work for free users, it crashes when attempting to save to disk.
Some suggest using a site called divxcrawler, but it has a very small selection of films, and the downloads are slow or fail early on. Another user points to a forum (pspiso?) which has a great selection of movies!... But they're all at Sony PSP size, low quality.
Megaupload is good for pc downloading but it doesn't support PS3's 'save target', much like every other site i've tried to use.
The main problem with downloading video (or music) from a playstation 3 is that in instances of downloading or attempting to 'save as' with the triangle button, it comes up with the 'insert media storage...'.
How can I get around this? Is there an easy way of downloading video? Are there in face decent sites for torrents for PS3s?
