What's the BEST street bike to buy for the first time?

I have my choices narrowed down to a GSXR 600 or Kawa ZX-6R (both 2008 models). I have already looked at other bikes but these are the only two that stick out to me. I've been set on the GSXR forever but now some things about the Kawa has caught my interest.

I'd like to know what would be a better decision based off of these factors:
I'm a FIRST time rider, very aggressive with speed, but I'm not dumb and understand the power behind bikes.
I'm 5'4", so I need a low seat or one easily able to be lowered if needed.
I may possibly want to use my bike eventually for stunts in some months/years when it gets worn in.
I LOVE speed.
I would like to have an easily customizable bike (performance parts and good for paint work).
I want to get good financial investment, as far as being worth the used price, fuel efficiency, and resell/trade value.

I know most information is opinion based, sometimes bias but any insight is good. Anything else I may need to know that I didn't directly ask. Thank you in advance.

Neither...I know thats not what u wanted to hear but the truth is that a Gixxer or Ninja is too much for a Beginner. U should get a Ninja 250 or 500 as a starter bike or if you MUST have a 600cc bike then look at the GT650R or SV650. they are both 600's but they are V-Twins so they are more forgiving if you twist the gas a little to hard and need to recover. the Gsx-r is a beast hands down!!!!

EDIT: also you said that your not dumb but your aggressive with the speed!! Well thats a dumb a$$ statement if I ever heard one. you should be very careful with the speed if your a NOOB due to fact that if you get in a situation that you need to react to really fast, the faster your going the less time you have to react. and a Beginner WILL NOT know what to do!
