I've recently landed in a situation in which my best option involves buying up a "beater" to satisfy my minimal commuter needs. i only have about $500 to use but im not exactly looking for luxury. what would be the best car or a list of good ones that could survive a couple of months of daily back and forth to work and school driving? anything from th 76' ford f150 to the 83 pontiac sunbird to any old import. something that wouldn't need repairs cause im not gonna be doing any.
