whats the best micro sd card for a nokia x2?

hello all, i have a nokia x2 and was wanting to put a 16gb micro sd card in it (the biggest it can take) but my mate said it would be slow when full.

my question is, is the newer micro sdhc card compatible and is it quicker or is there a faster compatible card on the market now.

i have tried google with no luck, i didn't want to buy the card to find it doesn't work.
