Been trying to find the best Blu-Ray player that's not to expensive but has the most life like picture.

Go online to home theater magazine and read the reviews on blu ray disc player. Panasonic BD-60 and the Sony PS3 are the best entry level blue ray disc player in the market today. Hope this will help you out.
 
Invest in a decent Blu-ray player. You bought the nice TV, why suffer with a cheaper Blu-ray player? The PS3 is one of the best Blu-ray players still as it always updates. Any high end-Samsung or Sony will be good too. Cheaper Blu-ray players cheap out on the lasers. Go for something 399+ for the best image quality and user control.

Do the opposite on cables. spend the least amount on cables as you can (Get HDMI for full 1080p). Monster, and any other expensive cables are joke. There have been many extensive tests that proved cheaper cables work just as good as cables costing $200+.
