I have a 2002 Ford Taurus. Just got the car serviced and oil changed. On the way to work from doing the oil change... the heaters on and everythings fine. No strange smell.
Then my shift ends and I start to head home. It rained nearly all night and it just stopped when I was leaving. I start the car... and head out... it was a little chilly so I put on the heat. All of a sudden I get this chalk smell. Smell nearly exactly like chalk... heavy doses of it. WHAT THE !?
I figure hey it'll go away in a few min. Nope.
Maybe if I try to turn it on then off. Nope
Maybe if I shut off the engine. Nope.
Maybe if I open the air filter and see if theres something inside it. Nope.
Maybe if I wait till the mornin. Nope.
Its Friday afternoon. How do I neutralize this smell?
