I live in chicago and in winter it snows alot but i dont think either of those cars have 4wd but i guess i can live without that if i drive safe. Also i heard the lancer is bad in snowy conditions and the salt messes with the paint and it gets stuck alot is that true and if so how is the focus in snowy weather or what car would be better for me . Also my car will be used to go to school and downtown 3 days a week after school so mpg is a little important i guess and i dont want a ugly car thats why i like the lancer because it looks nice and focus just looks ok and the focus is weak in terms of power but i understand its safe and has Antilock brakes and electronic stability control and safety is important too since im a new driver and inexperienced. Thanks and if theres a better car for me than these two than please recommend it.
