boyfriend/girlfriend status? There's a girl I met online a couple of years ago, and I confessed that I had a crush on her a couple of weeks ago. She said she felt the same way about me. I live in the United States and she lives in Greece, so we won't be able to see each other for a very long time, possibly even another year. She told me she will be patient for me and I will do the same for her. We really like each other. We've been talking like every day since I told her how I felt, and I'm not the only one who initiates the conversations. 
Anyways, what should our next step be (absolutely NOTHING dirty nor sexual, we connect on a deep emotional level, and I don't want to betray that) and when in an online relationship, when do you typically become boyfriend & girlfriend? Is it not until after you meet face to face?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
*Also, I'm 17, and nobody is hiring me. I have no source of income, and a round trip ticket to Greece is about $1000. I don't have money for that. Our meeting in person would have to wait for her to come here (which isn't too likely on a college student's budget), or for me to get a job.*
