I'm 16 right now, and I started exercising a lot when I was 12. Whenever I go a VERY long time without ever sprinting, I can run very fast, but after 1 workout of sprinting, my knees hurt too much to sprint for weeks. After I the pain stops, I can sprint again, but no where near as fast as I was first able to, and I can never get out of this stage.
I'm playing football next year as a cornerback, and I really need to fix this problem soon.
and pretty much the exact same thing happens when I try to do squats, leg press, etc. I can go very heavy at first after a few months rest, but then i can barely lift at all afterwards until i take another few months to rest
