What's it like living in El Paso Texas?

Thinking about applying for a news reporter in the city of El Paso... just curious what's it like living there? I know it's right next to Mexico... do most people frequently travel from EP to Juarez? I notice people kind of talk the same... with the mexican/ american accent. I think I could easily fit in.

Any comments? I'm from CA BTW
