What's it like in a Women's American Jail?

Hi, I am writing a story.Â* One of the characters is incarcerated in Fluvanna Women's correctional Center in Virginia, doing a 20 year sentence for murder. So...I just want to get an idea of what her day to day life would be like.
How many others would she share a cell with, if any? How long would she spend in the cell each day? Would there be a television?
What kind of jobs would she do? Would she have a choice to do them? would she get paid? How much, and what can she spend her money on?
How often would she be allowed visitors? How long would the visits be?
It's just details I'm after, any little bits would be appreciated. Many thanks.

I did 4 years in a women's prison upon on arrival you are taking in they take you picture (mug shot) you are taken to a room where you are strip searched after feeling so embarrassed and violated they give you pair of slip on shoes, pair of pants, shirt, socks and panties. you go and talk to another person about your medical history, they will ask if you have been in prison before, they ask about any tattoos (if you have any) you are then giving you bedding and taken to your cell or dorm depending on your security level. On a everyday basis you can be searched at any time. there is no need to worry about privacy the officers can see you bathing, changing your clothes etc. time goes by so slow.
